Our Story

Some years ago, we settled on the land at that small countryside cottage and raised our family.  We have had many wonderful experiences that we’ve been blessed with, and when looking back, we realize that a lot of these wonderful experiences have been centered around simple, honest and wholesome things. Things like, walking barefoot in the garden and catching the fragrance of the approaching harvest; sitting on the porch and noticing the fragrant summer breeze of the nearby meadow; walking in the wood just after a rain and picking up the woodland's pungent notes. Also, moments like when stepping out to do winter chores and experiencing the crisp, piney air as it first hits your face; or of when just sitting at the kitchen table when Grandma is opening the oven filled with her fresh baked pies.

Alongside of these wonderful experiences, we’ve learned a few things as well. Some of these things being; the importance of hard work and balancing it with necessary rest; the importance of family and spending time with loved ones and close friends; we've learned the importance of passing along traditions and holding on to old ways and values, which still have meaningful significance to our lives today and future generations to come.  We've also learned how important it is to not take kindness for granted and to always strive to find ways of passing on this simple, honest and wholesome gesture in business and friendship.  But most importantly, we've learned to trust in God and His love for us.

Here at the Hollow, through all our products, services, events and projects, we would like to pass on and share some of these simple, honest and wholesome experiences, values and things learned.  Our hope is that others will feel uplifted by them and will want to pass on and share the same.
